Display Information from eTech 2008
Mrs. Delamater and Miss Minneman attended eTech's statewide
technology conference this February. They were chosen
to create a teacher display to show how the 3rd graders at
Berlin Elementary use digital cameras to help improve their
learning. Please peruse this page for more information
about the display and projects shown at the conference.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail either

Final Draft Paper
(Excel)
In this project the students used the brainstorm to plan
what they wanted to take a picture of, whether they were
going to write a fiction or nonfiction story about their
image, and to do the actual brainstorm activity. Then
the students took a digital camera out into the school to
stage their picture and returned to class to work on their
rough draft. We were able to do this with only 3
digital cameras because the students worked in pairs to get
their pictures and they were ready to take their pictures at
different times due to the length of time it took them to
complete the planning process. When the students were
ready to begin their final draft, it was their job to insert
their image into the final draft paper template using the
directions I had given them. We were able to complete
this part of the process using the 6 computers in my room
due to the staggered finishes of the students on their rough
drafts and editing. This project worked out really
well and is one that I plan to continue using for years to
come. Enjoy! |
