The 7th grade football
team lost on September 11 against the Clyde Fliers. The team
showed dramatic improvement over the previous week! Lucas
Bowers completed passes to Jamie Brown and Luke Frankboner
on offense. The squad was led on defense by Cody Robinson
and Luke Hagelberger. Nice going, team!
The 8th grade football team
lost to the Clyde Fliers on September 11 with a score of
42-16. Scoring for the Chargers were Gary Jaycox and Storm
Weimer. Come out and support our teams!
The 7th grade team lost to
Huron on September 18 with a score of 26-14. Cody Robinson
scored both touchdowns and the 2-point conversion for the
team behind solid blocking from the offensive line. Lucas
Bowes completed passes to Jamie Brown, Brandon Cushler, and
Luke Frankboner. Brandon Cushler also added an interception
on defense.
The 7th grade football
team defeated the Port Clinton Redskins on September 25 with
a score of 40-22. Jamie Brown and Cody Robinson both scored
multiple touchdowns on offense behind the great offensive
line play of the following linemen: Shane Barnett, Sawyer
Davis, Chris Ketchem, Chris Laughlin, Austin Reising, and
Tanner Stiert. On defense, Kyle Robinson made numerous
tackles in the Redskin backfield. Also, Brandon Cushler
played well from his linebacker spot. Great team victory! The 8th grade football
team lost to Port Clinton on September 25 with a score 35-8.
Scoring for the Chargers were Tom Gerbracht and Storm
Weimer. The
7th grade football team lost to Perkins on October 2 with a
score of 43-0.
The 8th grade Charger
football team lost to Perkins on October 2 with a score of
36-0.
The 7th grade football
team lost to Oak Harbor on Thursday, October 9. Both Brandon
Cushler and Dakota Ouellette played well on defense with
Cushler having a sack and a fumble recovery.
The 8th grade football
team lost Oak Harbor with a score of 34-14 on Thursday,
October 9. Scoring for the Chargers was Storm Weimer with
great blocking from his offensive line.
The 8th grade football
team lost a hard fight to Margaretta on Thursday, October 16
with a score of 0-8. The team's record was 1-6 for the
season. This was our last game of the season. Thanks for all
