Pennies for Pasta
Milan Elementary has teamed
up with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to raise money to
help a local student who is battling this disease. The
students have been collecting money since March 1 and will
continue to collect through
March 19. The homeroom
which collects the most will receive a pasta party sponsored
by the Olive Garden.
The
current total of money collected school wide is
$1541.56.

Donuts
for Dad
Students and their dads
enjoy some quality time eating
donuts and juice for
breakfast. This event is sponsored by Milan
Girl Scout Troops.
 
Fire
Prevention Week
The
students are Milan Elementary were treated to a visit from
Milan Fire Department during Fire Prevention Week. The
firemen brought their equipment and safety gear to share
with the students. The students had the opportunity to try
on protective clothing and tour the Fire Safety Smoke House.
