100th day!
Giving Tree Donations
First Graders collected change to
bring Christmas spirit to two preschool-age children
whose names were on The Giving Tree in Berlin Heights.
They collected $182.00 and had fun counting the change
each day.
Pancakes! Pancakes!
We studied long A words and followed
directions to make our own pancakes. Mmmm, were
they good!
Smuggly
We studied short u and made our own space creatures
named Smuggly.
Students filled their buckets with warm
fuzzies for good behavior. They were rewarded with
decorating fall pumpkins. Thank you Mr. Suhanic
for donating the pumpkins!
Applesauce!
Students got to
learn how applesauce is made during Social Studies
class. They put apples in the crock pot in the
morning.

Then
they watched how it is ground in a mill in the afternoon.

The applesauce was delicious!

Students also learned about Johnny Appleseed
during their apple-filled day!

Students are watching the teacher try to make "square
bubbles" in Science class.
