C. Fundraiser
The 8th grade Washington,
D.C. fundraiser has been very successful!
The tickets have been sold and the first drawing will be
Monday, February 1, 2010. Many students were able to
raise the full cost of their trip and collectively
raised over $24,000. Winners for each day's drawing will
be notified by phone or e-mail. Thank you to all who
purchased tickets and helped our students reach the step
to our nation's capital.

of the Pen Triumphs at District Competition
The 7th & 8th grade
Power of the Pen teams competed at a district
tournament in Gibsonburg on Saturday, January 30, 2010.
Both teams came home with many awards, both individual

Excellent with Distinction from the State of Ohio for the

On Friday, December
18, 2009, the staff and students of our middle school
participated in Career Day 2009. We truly appreciated
the many talented and dynamic speakers.

Middle School to reduce the spread of flu.
