The 7th grade science
classes will be participating in a grant funded distance
learning activity with the Challenger Learning Center of
Lucas County and The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. The
students will be part of the Tiger Team simulation that is
designed to engage students in application skills, concepts,
and content taught in the classroom. The Tiger Team will
seek to find the solution to the oxygen emergency that faced
the crew of Apollo 13. They will devise and test the
solutions, modify and retest, and instruct the capsule
commander (CLC instructor) how to fix the emergency through
the use of distance learning equipment.
