The 7th grade Charger
volleyball team improved their record to 7-2 with a victory
over Port Clinton on Tuesday, September 29 with scores of
25-12, 24-26, and 25-10. The Chargers with 100% serving were
Sydney Patterson and Sydney Shephard. The most points scored
were Quinn Holler-17 points, Adriana Matula-11 points and 3
Aces, Alison Harper-5 points and 2 Aces, Madie Unger-4
points, Megan Peacock-3 points and 1 Ace, Hannah Charville-3
points and 1 Ace, and Gabby Stoll-3 points. The ladies who
were 100% spikers were Adriana Matula, Madie Unger, and
Katelyn Alexander with 2 kills each, while Whitney Baughman
and Jaime Danda had 1 kill each.
The 8th grade Chargers
improved their record to 7-2 with a victory over Port
Clinton on Tuesday, September 29 with scores of 26-24,
12-25, and 25-17. The servers at 100% were Hannah Oeder,
Cassidy Pierce, and Rachel Teed who were 15-16 with 5 Aces
each. Points were led my Maddi Price-12 for 12 with 2 kills,
Cassidy Pierce-9-11 with 2 kills, and Katie Ortman-6-6 with
2 kills. The serves received were Natalie Anderson-10 for 12
and Maddi Price-10 for 11.
The 7th grade volleyball
team lost to Perkins on Thursday, October 1 with scores of
15-25 and 23-25. The servers who were 100% were Adriana
Matula and Sydney Patterson who were both 7 for 7! Other
team members who also were one hundred percent servers were
Jenna Houser, Madie Unger, Jaime Danda, Quinn Holler, and
Mackenzie Johnston. The Lady Chargers with the most points
were Alison Harper, Adriana Matula, and Sydney Patterson
with 5 points each. The Chargers who had 3 points each were
Jenna Houser and Megan Peacock. Adriana Matula earned 1 Ace.
The spikers who were 100% were Quinn Holler, Adriana Matula,
Megan Peacock, and Whitney Baughman. The kills were earned
by Adriana Matula and Sydney Shephard with 2 kills each.
Jaime Danda and Megan Peacock had 1 kill each. Their record
is 7-3!
The 7th grade volleyball
team improved their record to 8-3 with a victory over Oak
Harbor on Tuesday, October 6 with scores of 25-15 and 25-22.
Servers who were at 100% were Adriana Matula, Hannah
Charville, Marley Price, Quinn Holler, and Sydney Shephard.
The Lady Chargers with the most points were Adriana Matula,
Jenna Houser, and Gabby Stoll with 4 points each. The ladies
with 3 points each were Mackenzie Johnston and Marley Price.
Aces were earned by Adriana Matula with 2 and Hannah
Charville, Jenna Houser, and Mackenzie Johnston with 1 each.
The spikers at 100% were Quinn Holler, Adriana Matula,
Hannah Charville, Alison Harper, Megan Peacock, Jaime Danda,
and Marley Price. Kills were credited to Adriana Matula with
2 and Marley Price with 1.
The 7th grade Lady
Chargers team lost to Margaretta on Thursday, October 8 with
scores of 13-25 and 15-25. The one hundred percent servers
were Sydney Patterson, Megan Peacock, Gabby Stoll, Madie
Unger, Adriana Matula, Jenna Houser, Alison Harper, Quinn
Holler, and Mackenzie Johnston. Those ladies who scored the
most points were Sydney Patterson-4 points, Megan Peacock-3
points, Jaime Danda-2 points and 1 Ace, and Gabby Stoll-2
points. The one hundred percent spikers were Jaime Danda,
Gabby Stoll, Katelyn Alexander, Whitney Baughman, Alison
Harper, Quinn Holler, and Adriana Matula. The kills in
spiking were earned by Jaime Danda, Adriana Matula, and
Madie Unger with one kill each.
The 8th grade Lady
Chargers defeated Margaretta with scores of 25-16 and 26-24.
The 8th grade ladies' record is 10-2. The leading attackers
where Kiersten Houser-4 for 4 kills, Katie Ortman-5 for 5
kills, Hannah Oeder and Morgan Moore were perfect. Natalie
Anderson and Kiersten Houser lead the way in service
received. Both Rachel Teed and Stacey Sinwald had good game
settings. The servers at one hundred percent were Katie
Ortman and Stacey Sinwald were 11-11, while Natalie
Anderson, Liz Cox Cassidy Pierce, Morgan Moore, and Rachel
Teed.
The 7th grade Lady
Chargers improved their record to 9-4 with a victory over
Sandusky St. Mary's on Tuesday, October 13 with scores of
25-17, 19-25, and 25-13. The servers at one hundred percent
were Adriana Matula-19 for 19, Katelyn Alexander, Jaime
Danda, Sydney Patterson, Sydney Shephard, Jenna Houser, and
Mackenzie Johnston. The most points were earned by Adriana
Matula-16, Katelyn Alexander-6 points, Sydney Patterson-4,
and Gabby Stoll-4. Aces were earned by Adriana Matula-2,
Quinn Holler-1, and Sydney Patterson-1. The spikers who were
at one hundred percent were Jaime Danda, Gabby Stoll, Alison
Harper, Quinn Holler, and Megan Peacock, and Madie Unger.
Kills were made by Gabby Stoll-3, Adriana Matula-1, Megan
Peacock-1, Alison Harper-1. You ladies are awesome!
On Thursday, October 15
was the last game for the 7th grade Lady Chargers. The team
lost to Clyde by scores 9-25 and 15-25. The servers who were
one hundred percent were Marley Price, Jaime Danda,
Mackenzie Johnston, Madie Unger, Katelyn Alexander, Whitney
Baughman, Hannah Charville, Quinn Holler, and Sydney
Patterson. The Chargers who scored the most points were
Marley Price-4 points, Alison Harper-3 points. Adriana
Matula had 1 Ace. The top spikers were Qunn Holler was 2 for
3 at the net and Madie Unger was 2 for 3 at the net with 1
Kill.
SBC 7th
Grade Volleyball Tournament
The Lady Chargers lost
to Huron by the scores of 25-12, 19-25, snf 21-25 on
Saturday, October 17, 2009. The servers who were one hundred
percent were Madie Unger 17 for 17 and Quinn Holler 6 for 6.
The most points were served by the following players: Madie
Unger-11, Adriana Matula-10 with 1 Ace, Jaime Dand-7,
Katelyn Alexander-4, Quinn Holler-2, and Jenna Houser-2 with
1 Ace. The top spikers were Gabby Stoll-7 for 9, Adriana
Matula-7 for 9, Katelyn Alexander and Madie Unger-5 for 7,
Jaime Dand, Quinn Holler, and Megan Peacock-4 for 5. Kills
were earned by Jaime Danda and Adriana Matula with 2 Kills
each. Quinn Holler, Gabby Stoll, and Madie Unger each earned
1 Kill each. The team finished with an overall record of
9-6. You gals were impressive!
