In the girls' varsity race,
Rachel Wallace and Julia Danda packed together to lead the
Chargers. Rounding out the top 7 were Brandi Heidl, Kristi
Flesher, Natasha Cromwell, Tara Poock, and Molly Hohler.
Andee Johns led the girls in the open race with an
impressive 29th out of 346 runners! Demey DeLoach took 78th
and was closely followed by Courtney Schafer, Tayler Poock,
and Morgan Flannery. Nice going, ladies!
The Charger Cross Country
girls team continued their winning season by defeating
Huron, Port Clinton, and Clyde in a quad meet at Edison High
School. The girls earned first place overall with 31 points.
Leading the ladies was Rachel Wallace, who was third
overall! She was followed by Andee Johns, Julia Danda,
Brandi Heidl, Tara Poock, and Tayler Poock. Looking great,
ladies! The girls' record is 5 and 1.
The Charger Cross Country
girls team raced at the Western Reserve Invitational. The
girls team took 4th overall, with 6 Chargers winning
individual medals. Andee Johns, Brandi Heidl, and Tara Poock
led the team in a tight pack at the finish line? They were
followed by Rachel Wallace, Julia Danda, and Kristi Flesher.
The girls' team won the
conference with a score of 57 points, 13 points ahead of the
second place team. Tara Poock led the ladies placing eighth
overall, with Andee Johns and Brandi Heidl close behind in
ninth and tenth places. They were followed by Kristi
Flesher, Rachel Wallace and Julia Danda. Congratulation,
ladies!
