The 7th grade boys traveled
to Huron to face the Tigers on Tuesday, January 12. The
score was 55-22. Ryan Reilly scored 2 points and Tyler Damante scored 4 points. Rusty Cromwell had 4 rebounds.
Their record is 1-5.
The 8th grade boys lost to
the Huron Tigers on Tuesday, January 12 with a score of
60-39. Chris Laughlin had 15 points and 4 rebounds. Luke
Frankboner had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Michael Biltz added
6 points. The 8th graders are 2-4. Both teams showed fine
effort!
The 8th grade boys beat the
Port Clinton Redskins on Thursday, January 14 with a score
35-33. On Brandon Cushler's last second floater Kyle
Robinson had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Luke Frankboner had 8
points and 12 rebounds with 7 blocks. Brandon Cushler had 6
points and 5 rebounds.
The 7th grade Chargers
traveled to Perkins on Tuesday, January 19. The score was
19-10. Sam Proctor scored 6 points and ripped down 6
rebounds. The boys put up a great fight!
The 8th grade boys traveled
to Perkins to take on the Pirates on Tuesday, January 19.
The score was 37-13. Luke Frankboner had 5 points and 10
rebounds. The team record is now 3-5.
The 7th grade Charger boys
lost to Margaretta on Tuesday, January 26 by a score of
40-23. Ben McIrath backed the Charger attack with 8 points
and 3 rebounds. Tyler Damante and Adam Wolf each had 5
points. Adam Wolf had 8 rebounds.
The 8th grade Charger boys
lost to Margaretta on Tuesday, January 26 by a score of
31-21. Luke Frankboner had 11 points and 12 rebounds and
Zack Frederick had 2 points and 3 rebounds. Tristan Heidl
added 2 points and had 4 rebounds. The 8th grade record is
3-7.
The 7th grade boys lost to
St. Mary's on Thursday, January 28 by a score of 49-34. Sam
Proctor scored 13 points and took down 6 rebounds. Ben
McIrath added 7 points with 5 rebounds and Adam Wolf added 6
points.
The 8th grade Chargers lost
to St. Mary's on Thursday, January 28 by a score of 51-30.
Luke Frankboner had 16 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Biltz
had 4 points and Nate Meredith added 4 points. The 8th grade
record is 3-10.
The 7th grade Chargers lost
to the Clyde Fliers on Tuesday, February 2 by a score of
38-29. Robert Morton hit 2 3 pointers for a total of 6
points. Adam Wolf added 6 points and 5 rebounds. Leading
rebounding was Sam Proctor with 8 and Rusty Cromwell with 5.
The 8th grade Chargers lost
to Clyde on Tuesday, February 2 by a score of 48-34. Chris
Laughlin had 11 points and 6 rebounds. Luke Frankboner had 8
points and 23 rebounds. Kyle Robinson had 5 points and 5
rebounds. Brandon Biltz had 4 points. The team's record is
3-9.
The 7th grade boys lost to
Margaretta 57-21 in the first round of playoffs. Sam Proctor
had 6 points and Tyler Damante and David Power added 4
points. The 7th grade Charger team's players were Ben
McIlrath, Tyler Damante, Chris Hoffman, Robert Morton,
Ismael Sanabria, Adam Wolf, David Power, Sam Proctor, Zack
Wilczak, Ryan Reilly, and Rusty Cromwell. We look forward to
this fine team next year!

Clyde 58-41 in the SBC Tournament. Chris Laughlin had 10
points and 11 rebounds; Luke Frankboner had 10 points and 9
rebounds; Kyle Robinson had 6 points and 7 rebounds; Brandon
Cushler had 7 points; Michael Biltz had 6 points and 4
rebounds. The 8th graders finished the season with a 3-11
record.
