The 7th grade Lady
Chargers enjoyed a win on Tuesday, January 26 against the
Polar Bears by a score of 39-10, improving their record to
9-1. Scoring was led by Brianna Pittenger with 18 points.
Jaime Danda added 6 and Adriana Matula had 5 points as well.
Rebounding was led by Gabby Stoll with 4. Nicki Gratz and
Adriana Matula also added 3 steals each.
The 8th grade Lady
Chargers defeated the Lady Bears on Tuesday, January 26 by a
score of 39-23, improving their record to 6-4. Scoring was
led by Ciara Reed with 12 points and Lauren Crooks with 9
points. Rebounding was led by Taylor Schnellinger and Nikki
Mollohan with 4 points each. Ciara Reed also had 5 assists
in the game. Congratulations, ladies!
The 7th grade Lady
Chargers exploded with a victory against the Lady Panthers
on Thursday, January 28 with a score of 45-22, improving
their record to 10-1. Scoring was led by Brianna Pittenger
with 20 points. Gabby Stoll also added 7 points and Jaylynn
Croll and Chelsea Imus had 6 points each. Rebounding was led
Gabby Stoll with 11 points and Jaylynn Croll with 6 points.
Tori Stalkamp also contributed 3 steals.
The 8th grade Lady
Chargers played their final game in the BMMS gym and soundly
defeated the Lady Panthers on Thursday, January 28 by a
score of 34-16, improving their record to 7-4. The team was
outstanding on the defensive end, with a team total of 18
steals in the game. Kristin McCarthy and Karyn Schmidt had 4
steals a piece to lead the team. Scoring was very balanced,
being led by Ciara Reed with 8 points, Liz hill with 7,
Karyn Schmidt with 6, and Kristin McCarthy with 5 points.
Rebounding was led by Ciara Reed and Taylor Schnellinger
with 5 each. Ciara Reed also added 3 assists for the win.

The 7th grade Lady
Chargers lost a heartbreaker to the Lady Fliers on Tuesday,
February 2 by a score of 13-47. Scoring was led by Brianna
Pittenger with 6 points and Adriana Matula added 4.
Rebounding was led by Chelsea Imus with 2.
The 8th grade Lady
Chargers lost to the Lady Fliers on Tuesday, February 2 by a
score of 31-47. Scoring was led by Victoria Grames and Nikki
Mollohan with 6 points apiece. Rebounding was led by Kristin
McCarthy with 4.
The 7th grade girls
basketball team was victorious over the Lady Tigers in their
tournament semifinal game on Saturday, February 13. After
losing to the Lady Tigers twice during the regular season,
our girls exploded with an 11-3 lead after one quarter of
play. Huron came back though and the score was tied 13 all
during half time. The Lady Chargers then outscored Huron
11-7 in the 3rd quarter and were able to hold the lead for
the rest of the game. The final score was 33-31, and the
team saw their record improve 12-3! Scoring was led by Gabby
Stoll with 15 points and Chelsea Imus added 9. Rebounding
was led by Chelsea with 8 and Gabby with 6. Adriana Matula
added 3 assists and 2 steals!
