Mrs. Wallrabenstein would like to
thank all of the students who tried out for the
Firelands Challenge Academic team. If you did not
make the team this year, please try out again for
next year! Congratulations to the following
students who have been selected to be on the 2008-09
Firelands Challenge Academic Team: returning senior
members are Katie Ferman and Jon Wolshuch; new
senior member is Bryan Nemire. Returning junior
members are Brady Gelvin and Sam Osterling. New
junior members are Addison Spriggs, Kale Divers and
Jesse Barron. Returning sophomore member is Ryan
Reber. Our first practice will be next Thursday at
2:40 in Mrs. Wally’s room. However, please see Mrs.
Wally today to get your research assignments.

Edison will
participate in the Academic
Challenge Regional Tournament on April
26. The team qualified for Regionals by winning the
Firelands Challenge Championship over St. Mary and
Norwalk.
The
TV-5 Academic Challenge in Cleveland was taped on
Saturday, March 15. Edison achieved an exciting
comeback win! Watch TV5 on
Saturday, May 3 at 7:00PM to experience
the excitement.
