Bus leaves EHS
at 7:30 am sharp
Snow Ski/Snowboard: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Bus will return approx. 3:15 pm.
Cost:
Complete (Tickets/Rentals/Lessons) -- $205.00
Rentals (Tickets/Rentals) -- $185.00
Non-rental (Tickets/Lessons) -- $180.00
Ski Pass (Tickets Only )-- $160.00
Since we will be using school
transportation, all costs above include a $15.00 bus fee.
If students cannot make a
scheduled Saturday because of a conflict, they can still ski
another day that week (using their own transportation to
Snow Trails). In fact, all students can begin skiing
once a week as soon as the resort opens (usually before
Christmas - depending on weather - it has to be cold enough
to make snow. When
our bus trips are over, students will still be able to ski
once a week. Finally, starting Sunday, February 22,
all program ID cards are valid seven days a week, any time,
for a no charge lift ticket until the end of the 2008-2009
season.
Anyone who has not skied or
boarded at a snow sports resort area should take lessons.
This is not a sledding hill! Everyone must learn how
to use equipment and the chairlifts properly.
Details:
Bring a packed lunch or money to buy food and beverages
in the cafeteria, as we will not be stopping for fast food.
Pants and jackets made for snow are essential for comfort.
Extra socks and gloves are always a good idea in case you
get wet. These can be stored on the bus or in a locker
(cost of locker is 75 cents).
After you have shared this
information with your parents and they have given you the
okay, see Mrs. Whaley for three forms that must be filled
out and signed by you and a guardian/parent. All money
will be due by October 24th and must be turned in with all
three completed forms.
All school rules apply on this
trip. Rules of the ski area must be followed as well.
