Congratulations to Taylor Fedeli who
qualified to the State Speech and Debate Tournament
in Dramatic Interpretation and to Samantha Seiling
who qualified as first alternate in Prose/Poetry
Reading. Also the team of Kelsey
O'Flaherty and Tyler Bewley qualified as alternates
in policy debate.

Congratulations to the Edison
Speech and Debate team which traveled to Beachwood
on Saturday for an All Events Tournament. Mr.
Amstutz will meet with Speech students only on
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
If you have not registered for this Saturday's
tournament at Berea, you must do so today after
school. Thanks!

Congratulations to the Edison
Speech and Debate team which placed 7th out of 24
schools at the Wauseon Tournament on December 19th.
The team travels to Beachwood for the all events
tournament this Saturday.
Mr. Amstutz will meet at 3:40 on Tuesday with all
policy debaters that plan to compete and on
Thursday Mr. Amstutz will meet with duo interp;
humor, drama and prose competitors.

Congratulations to the Edison
Speech and Debate team which placed 10th out of 26
competing teams at the Laurel tournament on
Saturday. Receiving the 1st place trophy in
Dramatic Interpretation was Rebecka Bedard.
The team will travel to Wauseon on Saturday to
compete. Mr. Amstutz will meet with Dramatic
Interp, Duo Interp and Porse/Poetry on Monday.
Congress dockets will be available on Tuesday
when Mr. Amstutz meets with debaters and congress
participants. On Wednesday, Mr. Amstutz will
meet with Prose/Poetry and Duo Interp.

Congratulations to the Edison
speech and Debate team which placed 9th overall
against 36 competing teams from across the State of
Ohio at the Olmsted Falls Speech and Debate
tournament on Saturday. Receiving individual honors
were Taylor Fedeli, 4th in Dramatic Interpretation,
Emily Leber 5th in Student Congress and Patrick
Kershner, 7th in Student Congress out of 72
competing students. Also placing was the
policy debate team of Tyler Bewley and Kelsey
O'Flaherty which placed 6th overall. Mr.
Amstutz will meet with only the IE competitors who
are registered to compete at the Laurel Tournament
on Tuesday. He will meet with policy debaters
on Friday of this week, immediately after school.

Congratulations to the Edison Speech
and debate competitors that placed at the tournament
on Saturday at Mentor High School. Placing 2nd
in Dramatic Interpretation was Maddi Gornek.
Placing 3rd in Prose Poetry was Samantha Seiling.
Madeline Ludwig placed 5th in Prose /Poetry and
Taylor Fideli took home 6th place honors in Dramatic
Interpretation. Mr. Amstutz will meet with
Speech and Debate competitors to take registrations
for the Olmsted Falls tournament and to distribute
new scripts and congress legislation today after
school- there is no rehearsal just sign-ups!

Congratulations to the policy debate
team of Kelsey O'Flaherty and Tyler Bewley which
placed 6th at the forensics tournament at
Lincoln
West High
School on Saturday.
Also placing for Edison were who took home 6th place honors in Humorous
Interpretation. The team travels to
Mentor
on Saturday. If you plan to compete, you must
register with Mr. Amstutz on Tuesday or with Rebecka
Bedard. Mr. Amstutz will meet with all
individual events students that plan to compete on
Tuesday and debaters on Wednesday. There will
be no Thursday rehearsal.
