Congratulations to the 2010-2011 National Honor
Society officers: President: Ryan Reber,

Thank you to all the candidates who ran for an office, it
was a very close election.
Band Council members see Mrs. Reilly after the
announcements for a very brief meeting.
Brian Spence, Michelle Tamburo, Kevin Niese, Zach
Pittenger and Ryan Hamilton see Mrs. Reilly.
Attention all trying out for cheerleading for next
year. The clinic on Friday March 19th will be from 3-5 at
BMMS instead of 5-7.
Mrs. Seel’s 9th period Child Development needs to
go to class today instead of the library.
The Art Club will meet today at
2:40 in the Art
Room.
EHOVE summer school forms are in the front office.
Please make sure you fill out completely and have Mr.
Goodwin sign before turning into EHOVE. Forms are due
to EHOVE no later than Friday June 11, with summer school
starting Monday June 14.
Attention Godspell cast and crew! Please sign
up on the call board to provide baked goods for sale on the
nights of the show. All cast and crew members are
asked to sign up for two nights.
The after prom team is hosting a dodge ball night
at the high school on Friday the 19th. The winning
team will get to compete against the staff and the winner
will receive a 6ft. subway sub voucher. Form a
team with your friends, classmates, sports team and enjoy a
night of fun and laughs. Sign up sheets are available
in the library and the office. Talk to Ryan Reber with
any questions.
The lunch of champions has been approved and the
criteria has been set. Check out the posters in the
hallways and classrooms to see how you can qualify!
Seniors, local scholarship applications are due to
Ms Mehlow by 3:15 pm TOMORROW March 12, 2010.
The annual Edison Band Council Talent Show will be
held April 16th at 7:00 p.m. Applications are now
available from Mrs. Reilly and Mrs. Notley in the band room
for any students that would like to participate. All
acts must be of a musical nature, singing or playing an
instrument. Last day to submit talent show
applications is March 22nd.
All band council ads for the talent show should be
turned in to Mrs. Reilly by Friday March 12th.
There will be an informational meeting for the June
2011 trip to Spain Tuesday, March 9th. The
meeting will take place in room 302 at 3:00. You do
not need to speak Spanish to go on the trip. If you
would like to discover the spanish-speaking world of Spain
and all its charm you should attend the meeting.
Parents are encouraged to attend!

Attention love Death and the Prom Cast: This
is a reminder that we rehearse today after school.
Please meet in the auditorium at 2:50. Mr. Stanforth would
like to perform Blood, The Rules, Night Stream and The Prom
at state if we can fit them in the available time.
All wrestlers who are wrestling in the All-Star
Meet on Thursday at Perkins need to meet in the field house
tonight at 5:00 for a short practice and team meeting.
Any other wrestlers interested in working out may also
attend if they wish.

Tennis players riding the bus to the tennis courts
will need to change quickly and ride bus number 19 starting

equipment to Coach Hermes today at 3:00 on the balcony.
Many of you have already turned in your uniforms but there
are still many that have not. Any equipment not turned
in by Tuesday will be charged to you through the athletic
department.

this fall – there will be a ‘Meet the Coach Night’ tonight
from 6 -- 8PM at Sheri’s Coffee House in Norwalk.
Please note that drinks and/or food will not be provided.
Coach Randy Schmitke is excited to be taking over the
program and would like to meet all interested players.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to come.

The Charger Wrestling capped off another successful
season this weekend by bringing home two state placers.
Junior Cam Michel placed 8th in the 103 pound weight class.
Sophomore Kyle Burns finished in 3rd place by winning 5
straight matches after losing in the opening round on
Thursday. Senior Dylan Howard also wrestled well by
going 1-2 during the tournament. Congratulations to
all the state qualifiers for representing Edison High School
very well during the state tournament.

This past weekend 7 Edison Art Students' artwork
was selected regionally to compete at State level in this
Saturday's Ohio Governor's High School Art Show. The
following students had their work selected: Lindsey
Schafer Bailey Bixler Jessica Rose Tyler Majoy
Tia Coble Amanda Wroblewski and Elyse Turton with 2
winning artworks.
